Projektkontext

Context
The use of digital media and newest technology is by now fully integrated in our today’s society. New technical applications help us to make new fields quite easily accessible and to cope with them; plus they simplify processes. Nowadays one cannot think of a life without apps, there is an evident proof of the use in nearly all fields and situations. The cultural (heritage) field, which is constantly looking for new ideas and new forms of cultural mediation, has already understood the digital age’s meaning.
Objective
The project
“DORA – DonauRaum App Award“ has the objective to make it possible to experience the cultural
and touristic meaningful Danube Region in an innovative way by using newest technology.

integration, the Danube region strategy aims to have a positive impact on the
people’s prosperity, employment and education. By the use of the strategy the
Danube region should become one of Europe’s most attractive regions.
